This message I send is to you my friend
Who I miss when we are apart
With each passing year and memories so clear
Thoughts of you are engraved in my heart
Time seems to fly as the years go by
As life takes us each to a different place
With each passing day in my own special way
Thoughts of you put a smile on my face
Well I don’t know when we will visit again
But I do know there’s one thing for certain
Sending this message today was a wonderful way
To make this ole’ heart stop hurtin'

A man and his dog
They’re like two souls in one
A bond built out of love
Like a father and his son
A most loyal companion
Whether you are happy or sad
Always right there by your side
Looking up to you like a dad
Dogs make great company
They’ll snuggle and keep you warm
Others make good watch dogs
Keep you protected and free from harm
Some dogs like to go for a walk
Some just like to hunt and fish
Others will wait for their daily run
Some will do anything you wish
Each has its own personality
They are honorable, caring and wise
Doing anything to please their master
You can see it in their eyes
Black, brown white or yellow
There is no greater sight to see
than the love between a man and his dog

I think about you often
Just about every day
I’m writing to say I love you
In a very special way

When I was just a little one
We spent our time together
Memories of our happy home
I’ll carry with me forever

I’m thankful for loving parents
You are very special to me
As a child you taught me right from wrong
When I grew older you set me free

Today our lives our different
And time sure seems to fly
With work, kids and bills to pay
And problems that’ll make you cry

But there is one thing that never changes
It’s a feeling I’ve known from the start
Its qualities of you that are instilled in me
I love you with all of my heart!
